About Kiwanis Morning Edition

Join us for breakfast!

Kiwanis is a great place to contribute to the community while you meet new people and make new friends. Kiwanis A2 Morning Edition meets twice a month for breakfast.

Place: Guy Hollerin’s Restaurant, 3600 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor, MI
Date:   2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
Time:   8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Kiwanis A2 Morning Edition is an international non-profit that seeks to “improve the world, one child and community at a time.” We do this by fundraising and contributing to organizations that support school-aged children. Our signature event is a 5K run/walk through neighborhoods in northeast Ann Arbor, Michigan, to raise funds for local charities related to education.
Some of our other activities during the year include:

  • stuffing backpacks and gift bags for The Education Project for Homeless Youth
  • providing games and balloons for children at OHMHA’s Fall Festival
  • participating in work days at Thurston Nature Center
  • volunteering at Glacier Hills Senior Living Community

We also sponsor Concordia College’s Circle K, the university branch of Kiwanis.

Our parent organization, Kiwanis International, began in Detroit, Michigan, in 1915, and now has clubs in 80 countries around the world. Our current international project, in partnership with UNICEF, seeks to eliminate neonatal tetanus worldwide.
